Lakshmi Gupta, CPA
Following 10 years of being in the accounting and tax field, including her work experience as a College Professor as well as the Financial Controller of a consulting firm, Lakshmi Gupta founded Money Equations in 2010. She is a seasoned financial professional with three decades of experience in tax, advisory, and back-office accounting services.
Since the founding of Money Equations, Lakshmi’s hands-on approach and personalized attention has been to treat all clients like family, with a focus on providing exceptional service and expertise in tax planning and financial management.
Lakshmi is responsible for the overall strategic planning and direction of the company including day-to-day administration and fiscal planning of the firm.
For Lakshmi, the acronym CPA stands for “Close Personal Attention.”
Lakshmi works with closely held businesses and their owners including high net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs. She supports her clients with successful business/tax strategies that make good economic and tax sense.
Money Equations is her baby and a dream come true! And now she is helping others realize their business dream, by assisting them with their accounting and taxation needs in their business.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and son, and her clingy coonhound, Zara. She likes to listen to music and also enjoys singing, gardening and photography.
